VFL tipping comp 2026
Body:

VFL 2026 starts next weekend.

VFL tips starts in less than 2 weeks. In 2026 there will be one extra team bringing the comp to 22 teams. St Kilda and Sandringham will be both standalone after a split. Sandringham will be standalone status for the first time since 1999. Tasmania returns to the VFL after a 20-year break. The devils produced some great players in their few years in the VFL with the most notable being a young Jack Riewoldt. Footscray beat Southport to win the 2025 premiership.

I will send further reminder on Friday as well as Monday.

Final reminder will be sent on Thursday as there are games starting on Friday. Make sure you pick the aggregate score each week as if more than one tipster picks the highest for the round the weekly winner will be decided by tipster nearest the aggregate score for selected game.

There will be also for selected rounds tipster nearest the aggregate score will collect.

Based on last season where there were 59 tipsters the prizemoney was allocated as follows

Cost of tipping comp is $20.

This will be the 26the season of VFL tipping comp which started way back in 2000.

In 2020 there were no games of local or VFL footy played due to covid.

Prizemoney

Tipsters 59 x $20 (total 1180

Aggregate score 3 x $25 total $75

21 rounds x $25 total $525

Second $116

Third $58
