SANFL players consider industrial action
The SANFL Players' Association met to discuss a strike in response to a 50 per cent decline in pay over the past 20 years, taking inflation into account.

Thanks for posting that Blackrocker. It will be fascinating to see what comes of this. I would imagine some of the clubs will be in severe financial trouble if players salaries significantly improved. The clubs would probably be reliant on money from the Crows and Power licensing to subsidise SANFL clubs further.
