In return I have an old game for you
1973 VFA 2nd Division Grand Final between Caulfield v Brunswick.
I have the full second half of this game with commentators being Clem Dimsey who was an avid Camberwell fan and Craig Kelly.
Playing for Caulfield was ex Richmond players Tony Jewell, Paddy Guinane and Mick Maguire. Also playing for the bears was a player called Gowans who is the dad of the Gowans twins (playing for Central Districts).
Playing for Brunswick was Doug Baird (son happens to be John Baird), Merv Hobbs ex Footscray who took the famous mark in 1961 VFL Preliminary Final for the dogs. Also Frankie Dimattina (ex Richmond, North Melbourne and Prahran) famous father of all the Dimattina clan.
Scores were level with about 5 minutes to go, enter Tony Jewell and a whopping 50/60 metre goal ton put the bears in front. Also note that several footy's were lost behind the goals and at one stage took them a few minutes to get a new ball.
