If true thats a big loss for the Borough. Saw him today working with at the quarter time huddle. I guess business opportunities are taking him down to Tassy.

Had a chat with a few people from AFL Victoria today and they confirmed that Tassie are staying in the league next year.

It was on the news tonight ... AFL Tas is seeking to extend there licence for a further 5 years, subject to agreement with the VFL. They have also secured more funding direct from the AFL to recruit players and to also sit up a centre of excellence at Bellerive, with Hawthron to help set up. Also Ken Hall, Scott Stephens and Brett Geappen futures with the club are in doubt. Havnt heard about Tim Hazell signing, but he is player they use as an example of who they want to recruit home

Very positive news for the Devils, congratulations, and well done on securing funding/assistance from both the AFL and Hawthorn, if the AFL is going to be the controling body of footy in the Nation, this is what the have to continue to do, i.e create clear pathways for players, but also assist in recognition of a good thing, rather than trying to shunt any move to grow without an AFL tag.
