VFL Tipping comp?
Im currently investigating the possibility of hosting a VFL tipping competition, and I am trying to get an idea of how many people would be interested in being involved in such a comp? If you would like to take part, please just reply here. There are a few options in terms of running the compeition, which I think could be a lot of fun.

Good idea, if you can work out a cheat proof program, I'll be in it.
Good idea, if you can work out a cheat proof program, I'll be in it.
Ive contacted a couple of software companies regarding hosting a VFL competition, and they are willing to do it for around $500. I have contacted FV, to see if they would be willing to set one up.

I think Melbourne PC User Group used to have a freeware program on their bulletin board. Some of the members might know more about it.

Sounds like a good idea, I reckon it would be good to compare ourselves to those "experts" in the Football Record :)

Well I have heard back from FV and they won't be running a VFL one. So I will set one up ... more news soon.

ok.. It looks like I will be using the newsletter feature to email out the tips, which you will simply tick the appropriate boxes and click send. It will send an email back to me, and I will sort them out via an excel spreadsheet, and update a ladder that I will post as a new article. I will be sending out a test run during this week to check just how well the system works, and what changes will need to be made.
