Thanks VFA, and a gentle reminder to other asking if you could you please post issues with the forum in Site Feedback please.
I have addressed the issue with the post count.
I will try and improve the look and functionality of the forums. The maintainer of the modules forum hopes she can fix some of the problems with the layout of the forum module.
To address the confusion between Active Forum topics and Recent Comments...
AFT shows which Forum threads have people posting in them.
RC shows the most recent comments across the site.. eg, comments on News articles, Images in the Gallery, Video Footage, Polls etc. I'll rethink the way that those modules show up.
Sandy08... The old forum's back-end needed to be replaced, and as seeing as the product (PHPNuke) is effectively a dead CMS, I needed to move to another package that provided active community and module support. I am not a programmer, so rely heavily on people making free software that suits my needs running the site.
I love the gallery :)
I think I'm more of a fan of the layout of the old website, but I might be in the minority on that one.
Certainly don't want to slag the excellent work being done by the people driving the website but I must agree.
We might be from the bush. but we ain't green

Definately not! I can't stand this new layout. I can't find anything, always goes to the first page of a thread, can't edit some of your posts and the "recent posts" thing on the left is confusing! Please bring back the old forum NorthPort? Pleeeeeeeaaaaaaase.
There appears to be an inconsistency in post times indicated.
eg The VFL General Chat Forum lists your post on Season 2009 board re Port memberships as 1 day 6 hours ago.
When I go to the actual board it says 1 day and 11 hours.
When I go to the post the time is more like 1 day 22 hours.
No big deal but it makes it hard to work out which posts I have already read.
Have to say im having a lot of trouble with this site, very hard to read.

How so Ozybeer? If the text is too small, it can be increased up on the top left. Try 80% If its font related, can you let me know. These are things I can fix myself.
Inforapenny.. I'll check that out, I don't see those errors. What is your timezone currently set at? Does refreshing the page fix the problem?
I changed my timezone settings. Thanks. Seems to be okay now.
Why when i go to recent posts,it goes to the first post then i have to click on last post to get were i want to be
