It was a weekend when a number of results did not go the way the tipsters expected. Both of last year's Grand Finalists copped a sever pounding. And some other strugglers came out and did their colours proud.
Which of these is the most significant? Were any of these just flashes in the pan, or a sign of a changing of the guard?
Personally, I expect the Ports and Sandies to come back next week better and stronger, but .........
Personally I hope the Bullants are not a flash in the pan. They have one of the youngest lists imaginable, as even their AFL types are just kids. However, the apparently played a style of footy that warmed the coaches heart and looked influenced by the hard nosed Pagan style now coming out in Carlton.
