Intersesting to hear the VFL show on SEN on Wednesday night, in particular the interview with the ex. VFA umpire, didn't catch his name, if someone can help me out there.
But one comment he made that really caught me was when he said that in the past umpires were instructed to look after the player going for the ball, now umpires are instructed to think who they can give a free kick to once someone goes for it.
I'm also wondering what everyones view lately on the kicking backwards rule is, i reckon it has been extremely successful in the VFL and should definately be considered in the AFL next season.
Saw the cats, saints game last night, terrible game to watch.
Seen far better matches in the VFL this season.
