Happy to see the Preston name return. I'm not a fan of teams being named for vague undefined regions (looking at you Western United.)
Sounds very much like the club's taking a new direction and they have every intention of staying in the VFL for next year. Hopefully the new leadership means new supporters and revenue. With Sandringham most likely going independent next year it'd be great to see 7 standalones in the VFL.
Brilliant news! Long live Preston. The name persisted despite the rebranding but its wonderful to see it officially make its return.
It also sounds like there are passionate people coming into the club in off field roles that might give the club a well deserved boost.
The more healthy standalones the better for the comp.
