Unfortunately, Essendon just too good on the day.
The Bombers were clean and efficient with more mature bodies than a very young Borough side could deal with.
That said, I thought it was a very spirited performance. Port fell short but that wasn't unexpected.. Some poor turnovers due to skill errors were very costl.
I did note that Port had the better of the umpiring today that was a refreshing changechange
Lisle was at his best
We were missing at least half a dozen key senior p. Hopefully we get to see some of those players returning in the coming weeks.
