It is Round 1 of the season, and team lists were submitted less than a fortnight ago. You'd expect the Football Record, which they charge you $2 for, to have the right details in it.
But Werribee today had errors everywhere. 1/3 of their list was wrong today. It can't be that difficult to allocate a bloke a jumper number and stick to it.
Football Victoria claim the VFL is the next best competition in Australia behind the AFL, it is about time they start cracking down on this issue. We are not watching some dinky little country league in outback Australia.
They want new people to start going to matches, well if there are first time VFL watchers who do decide to show up and cant tell whose who then i doubt they're really going to enjoy their day at the footy.
