Great to see David Mirra get his chance at AFL level for Hawthorn. After looking on for several years, hopefully he gets a chance for the Hawks at AFL level.
Well I said Brody Mihocek should be on an AFL list last year. The Magpies were rumoured to be interested in him then, and have gone one better this year. Will do in the Magpies backline when he breaks through.
Also from a Port Melbourne perspective... It amazes me that Damian Mascitti hasn't been scooped up. To me he has all the attributes of a potentially damaging rebounding defender at AFL level. What am I missing? Lovely kick, good decision maker under pressure, courageos. What do people see that I am overlooking?
Looks like a good Rookie draft for aligned and standalone AFL clubs with Richmond, the Blues and Footscray all upgrading from within.
