Former West Coast Eagles and Collingwood winger Andrew Williams has recently signed on to play with Williamstown for the 2006-07 seasons.
Andrew brings a wealth of experience with him having played 8 years in the AFL accumulating 116 matches at the highest level.
Andrew is already a Seagulls premiership player having debuted for Williamstown in the club’s 2003 Grand Final victory. In 2005 he played the latter half of the VFL season with Williamstown and was consistently amongst the team’s best players in their late season push toward a finals berth that we narrowly missed.
Despite selection set backs with Collingwood in 2005 Andrew persisted all year and his character was shown by his continual excellent performances in the VFL. This character and work ethic seen first hand by the club means Williamstown are very excited to have Andrew Williams on the 2006 playing list.
