Doggies Practice match
Went to Latrobe uni.. Who is the Turner on Werribees list? He could be the shortest player in the VFL, but shows good skills, and did well against taller opposition.

Michael Turner, he'd be just under 170cm I reckon. Played a bit of seniors last year at Werribee, probably around 6-8 games when Werribee and the Bulldogs both had a lot of injuries. Its hard to believe he can compete with opponents in the air but occassionally he does take a good mark or spoil very effectively.
10 Werribbee players took part in the Western Bulldogs first intra-club game for 2004. Here is the wrap up of their performance Luke Collins : played on a half back flank and did well especially his use of the ball Dominic Gleeson: played half back and showed his footy smarts Adam Morrow: played the second half in a back pocket and did some useful things Sam Long:showed some dash in the the backline in the second half Simon Potter: played the full game at centre half forward on Wayde Skipper and had a very good battle. Mick Turner: played the second half in the forward pocket and tried hard Aaron Hassett: played on boom recruit Farren Ray and did not lower his colours Brad Wight: did some useful things in the second half in the backline Sam Geilings:played up forward and did a few things Dale morris: left the field after a head clash before that kept the resting rovers very quiet as a back pocket.
Source - http://www.werribeetigers.com/latestnews.asp OFFTOPIC. Werribee do a good job with keeping their website up to date. Some clubs (Coburg and North Ballarat) have not updated theirs for some time. The Bullants do not appear to even have a site.

I love VFL football, and when I went for a team it was werribee. (But don't follow a specific team anymore, b/c of umpiring reasons!). do you think they are a chance for a finals birth this year?

If you get to umpire any of their games, they will have every chance!
