Is the top 4 set ???
Even with 8 round to go it appears it will be very tough to break into the top 4.

The gap seems to be widening between the top 4 and the rest. Casey do however need to play Williamstown and Nth Ballarat both away in the coming few weeks, as well as an unpredictable Werribee at Bartercard. Of course i hope they win and believe they can push hard for at least 2 of them, but might open up an opportunity. What is Port Melbournes run home like?

Port have a fairly good run home,playing 5 of the last 8 at home. Bendigo (h)Coburg (a)Frankston (a) Werribee (h)Willy (h) Geelong (a) Pies (h) Bullants (h)

Could almost expect them to win 7 of them maybe?? and give Williamstown a real good shake at home. Could they snatch 2nd or even 1st??

Every chance, like the other 3 top sides they are almost unbeatable at home. Not sure of the others but Nth Ballarat are 7/7 at home this year.

Yeh I think Casey are 7 from 7 and Port and Willi obviously Would be similar. Just seeing the results from today and the gap from 4th to 5th would have spread to 3 games, considering a month ago the Scorpions had a huge month of footy where they could still drop out of the 8 i am very satisfied. Our run home is: Williamstown Away Tasmania Home Werribee Away Box Hill Hawks Away North Ballarat Home Frankston Away Coburg Tigers Home Collingwood Away Going on form Williamstown and Nth Ballarat are 2 tough ones with Werribee a possible tough one too, but I would expect to win the other 5 at LEAST. So in my opinion our worst case would be 14-6 by seasons end which would probably put us 4th, yet still would most likely be games clear of 5th who have already lost 6.

Top four settled. One of the top four WILL WIN the flag, the rest = cricket bats

2nd, 3rd and 4th (all on 32 points) all won this weekend (and are now all on 36 points), while 5th, 6th and 7th (all on 24 points) all lost this weekend. It's hard to see any of them breaking into the top 4, although 5th placed Sandy is best placed with a percentage of 122% while 3rd and 4th both have only slightly better percentages of 124%.

Caseyscorp, the top four are home and hosed and it will be very tough from fifth to eighth teams to make it to the Grand unless they get on a role.

That's what I'm saying - if Sandy gets on a roll they don't have to worry too much about % (unless they just scrape over the line). It requires one of 2,3 or 4 to stumble as well though.

Forget the top 4 , we've got the road trip from hell this weekend. If we get beat next week you can forget the top 4 and maybe the year.
