Vics v SA (20/20 @ the G)

Heading along for a look. I thought they might being up a few new guys for this or perhaps Sundays game at Skilled Stadium.

It looks like a pretty settled squad though:

THE SQUADS: BUSHRANGERS: Cameron White (c), Aiden Blizzard, Adam Crosthwaite, Aaron Finch, Shane Harwood, Brad Hodge, David Hussey, Clinton McKay, Dirk Nannes, Rob Quiney, Matthew Wade & Damien Wright

REDBACKS: Graham Manou (c), Jake Brown, Dan Christian, Mark Cleary, Tom Cooper, Dan Cullen, Callum Ferguson, Daniel Harris, Michael Klinger, Aaron O’ Brien, Gary Putland & Sohail Tanvir

The game looked like it might go the Redbacks way, but Hodgey's boundary of the last ball of the second last over gave the Vics a real shot at a last over win.

Some good running, and fortuitous misfielding gave the Vics a win with 1 ball to spare.

Didn't open, didn't come in at 3 as listed on the scoreboard early.

With Hodge and Blizzard making a good early start, what do they have planned for him in the 20/20 fixture? Was this a once off, because they figured the pitch wasn't a factor?

I was watching the game in my motel room at Wagga Wagga last night. It was a good game of cricket. It looked a reasonable crowd on the TV too.

I am heading down to Geelong tomorrow for those going down.

Gates Open at 12:30pm

Curtain Raiser begins at 2pm (Geelong Football Club team vs Victorian Country Cricket League All Stars-8 overs a side game).

Main Game starts at 4pm (Live on SEN 1116 from 3pm).

Victoria play Western Australia at the MCG on Thursday Night game starts at 6:45pm (Gates Open 2:30pm, Womens Twenty20 Vic vs WA starts at 3pm).

Vics still on track for a home final on Wed 21st?

Hey Robbo, I also went. Thought that Qld bowled very well, while the Vics didn't really look like taking a wicket or restricting the bowling.

Hopefully they can bounce back next Thursday night at the MCG.

Vics need to win one of their remaining 2 games to make sure of top 3 spot. Win both games and should finish on top.

For those interested in the late game in Perth

Tasmania all out 128(20)

in reply WA 3/46(7) need 83 runs to win from 78 balls.
