Competition compromised?

Schwab claimed that playing the 11th & 12th September Box Hill games at Box Hill did not "compromise the competition".

Oh really! I think it did.

What do other posters think about this?

I didn't think it compromised the competition, it was refreshing to be at another venue and I thought Box Hill put on a good show, maybe a grandstand on the Bolton St wing would be better again but I thought the crowds were probably bigger than at Port!

Vic Park should have been used, great deck, plenty of undercover seating, public transport.

Seriously the lack of decent grounds for the VFL in finals is a joke. Box Hill for prelims???

Eastern Footy League won't even play DIVISION 2 grand finals there due to lack of seating/capacity etc. But then again, the EFL have direction

Iceman, I'll be at Bayswater tomorrow for the GF between Noble Park v Scoresby.
Speaking of the EFL did you see Forest Hill reserves last week in the GF kicked 2.24.36 to lose Heathmont 8.5.53. At half time the scores were level with Forest Hill a lamentable 0.15.15 to Heathmont 2.3.15
I agree with Billy the Kid that the Govt should spend plenty of dollars $$ and not only turn the old Junction Oval into a cricket ground but also a ground that can be used to host VFL finals. I'd like to see that !!
