New Grandstand at Frankston to be opened next week

The new grandstand at Frankston Park will be officially opened in a ceremony next Wednesday November 17th at 3pm.

Any one know why frankston didnt ask/tell thier members
I have been told frankston treat thier members shit.

The launch is a formal, politician event being run by the Council who manage Frankston Park and built the grandstand.

The first event being held is Saturday, 4 December which is the Frankston Gift - one of the state's best athletics events, won last year by a Comm Games bronze medallist - and I believe an email is going out from the club about that one.

the Frankston website would have been a good way to keep people up to date with the progress of the grandstand...North Ballarat had constant updates and photos of their surface upgrade...Williamstown are doing the same thing with their upgrade...

The Frankston website has very little information on it...regular updates surely are not a difficult thing to do?

All Members and Supporters are welcome to opening. There was a poster on the bar about it when i was at training on Friday Night.

Not all members can get down 2 the bar, why not a mail out 2 members?

Around 300 people where at Frankston Park for the opening of the "Bryan Mace" grandstand this afternoon. It was officially opened by Frankston Mayor Cr Christine Richards. The rooms are fantastic for both the Dolphins and the Visitors.
