Utter hypocrites our ABC – they jump on the band wagon and broadcast the grand final on ABC radio but absolutely refuse to mention the VFL during the season.

What a game! It still doesn't feel real. The first quarter was a slow start once again. If it was a regular home and away game I wouldn't have minded, but in a grand final, that lead to Williamstown scared the hell out of me. I still haven't gathered my thoughts properly and I'll write up something over the week. I couldn't have asked for anything more from the Borough. I'd say the best season the club has ever had.

The Borough Brigade has been quite of recent days, is that because they are overwhelmed by success and magnanimous in victory or did they party too hard?
I am keen to hear reports on the celebrations

Been partying waaaaayyyyy to hard!

Massive night was had on Sunday Night at the clubrooms - literally could not fit everyone in the social rooms.

Around 8.30pm the team was presented on the ground, the supporters sung a few chants and they showed us the premiership flag.

As shown in another thread, a number of us (including all yours truly) had their photo taken with Gary Ayres and the Premiership Cup.

It was still packed when I left for home at 10.30pm.

Next day was MAD MONDAY at the local bowls club.

All players, officials, coaches and a number of fans in attendance... Phil Clreay even popped in for a while.

Great atmosphere, all relaxed, players were happy to sign things for fans - a day like that, that makes your proud of the club.

... and I have to have one little dig... where's all the Willi supporters??? ;)

Well Done Port Melbourne Football Club

I can't put into words how happy and proud i am of that club.

I'm still in shock that the cup is back home after all these years waiting.

That massive weight of 1987 1993 2002 2004 2008 has finally gone away put to rest.

I'm so glad i got to see a premireship in my life time all these stories from past glorys and how good it was now it's our turn.

I think this win will make our club even stronger we have so many good players in the reserves or missed out i do hope you stick around for the next few years to come so you can get the same thing.

What can i say

Go the Borough who are we ?
