OUT of favour North Melbourne ruckman Todd Goldstein will make his first appearance for North Ballarat in the VFL on Sunday.
Goldstein and Kangaroos teammate Matt Campbell will line up for the Selkirk Roosters against Casey Scorpions at Casey Fields.

Each was added after being left out of the North Melbourne team to face Gold Coast Suns at Etihad Stadium tomorrow.

They are among six certain changes to the North Ballarat combination thrashed by unbeaten reigning premier Port Melbourne.

Captain Marc Greig returns from a one-match suspension, Matt Austin and Derick Micallef are fit again after missing one match on the back of surgery to repair broken noses, and Jake Lloyd is the new 23rd player.

Lloyd, from Horsham Demons in the Wimmera Football League, has been promoted from the North Ballarat Rebels to replace Callum Currie as the fifth man on interchange.

Aaron Mullett has been recalled by North Melbourne, while like Currie, Bryce Curnow and Angus Grigg have been left out.

The Roosters will finalise their line-up today.

Nick Peters (quadricep) and Paul McMahon (hamstring) remain on the sidelines.

Goldstein is a shock inclusion.

He was among the best performed ruckmen in the AFL last year, carrying the big man load for the Kangaroos in the absence of an injured Hamish McIntosh.

North Melbourne has struggled to find the right balance with the two in the team this season, with Goldstein’s form suffering.

While this is Goldstein’s first full season on the North Ballarat list, having been switched from Werribee Tigers, he is not completely new to the Roosters.

He was initially part of the North Ballarat squad when drafted as a raw talent from basketball ranks.

Goldstein played a handful of practice matches with the Roosters.

North Ballarat had Orren Stephenson and Tristan Cartledge at the time, so Goldstein was transferred to Werribee for better opportunities to develop at VFL senior level.
