VFA footage on youtube

Recently I've noticed some old channel 10 VFA footage popping up on youtube. Some good stuff like this:

For old Sandy supporters this one against Oakleigh brings back some memories I think that may have been the game when Alf Beus got reported for hitting and umpire.

Just look at that crowd!They were the glory days for the VFA.

Bullants and Billy, the Springvale v Coburg clash was from 1984. I have this game. It has Neil Brown as one of the commentators. Springvale use to tape their home games and have commentators. I should be getting a batch of Springvale games shortly from the mid 1980s onwards. Berwick also use to tape home games with commentators. One game I would love to get is Berwick v Northcote from 1984 or 85 ? Northcote were about 5 goals down and won comfortably. Loris Bertollo who ended up at Brunswick starred for Northcote.
