Port over the Zebras by between 6 and 10 goals!

Luckily I have to work on Sat so I wont have to witness a hiding at the hands of the best team in the comp on their home ground.

Will be at North Port Oval on Saturday and are playing footy over 47s on Sunday against South Yarra. Casey's trip to Chirnside Park might bring up their second loss for the season. Then again if it is a close game it will favour the scorpions who seem to win those games. I would expect Port to win at home comfortably. Box Hill will beat the slimes for sure and I reckon the dolphins can bring up another win. Roosters v seagulls will be close with maybe the seagulls just. Geelong to win at Warrnambool over Coburg. Six games for this round after several weeks of having only five games.

Just what sort of a supporter are you Billy. ??
Maybe its time that you switched from Sandy to Port & give all the other loyal Sandy supporters a break. !!

Love the VFL grand final at Etihad Stadium.

Yeah saying luckily is a bit poor Billy! A supporter should want to get to the game even if the odds are stacked against you.

I'll be at Port on Saturday. I believe showers are forecast, but nonetheless we are hoping for a good crowd. Saturday games with the early start and TV coverage makes it a little tougher!

I'm tipping Port by around 4 goals.

Casey will beat the Tigers
The Hawks should smash the Blues.

Sunday has some good games.. Frankston should beat Collingwood, but the other two games are hard to tip.. I think Willy will win, and Geelong should beat Coburg.

Will Brock McClean be playing for the Northern Blues after his little indiscretion??

I'll be at Port Saturday Billy, barracking hard as I can with my Sandy scarf on for the Zebras.
It wasn't that long ago when Sandy won a few games there against Port at Port.
We true Zeb supporters don't give in so easily.
I agree Port start favourites but the Zebs can cause an upset even against the odds.
go zebras.

Shouldnt that be the Sandy / Saints seeing that 3/4 of the team is made up from St Kilda left over players? and thats one of the main reasons I dont like watching the current Sandy team its really only Sandringhgam in name.

Some of the silly and costly mistakes esp on the backline last week against Casey by supposed senior footballers on an AFL list were just pathetic and I dont have to waste my time watching shit like that.

Im not a stupid fanatical supporter like I was many years back and would rather sit and relax in front of the TV and watch an interesting AFL match instead oif the now very disjointed 'VFL" and as I have never followed a VFL/AFL club I can just enjoy the footy.

The sooner this bastardised comp is put to sleep by the AFL/Clubs the better it will be.

All the AFL have achieved is to kill off the VFA and create a culture of lazy handout dependence with little or no incentive to get off your arse and actually DO something about saving the club and its history and culture by the former VFA clubsIE :Box Hill,Preston ,Coburg with Sandy and Willy to a lesser extent apart from Port and Frankston who have had the guts to stand alone.
The trouble with that sort of culture is that you end up like Greese = farked!

I don't think the zebras were that bad in the last quarter. The first quarter was average by both teams. The last quarter was a slog and could have gone either way. Beau Wilkes goes ok as does Adam Cockie. Cook shows some dash. Casey seem to find the line in close games. Port at Port are a very tough proposition for all teams so you would expect Sandy to find the going pretty tough. Werribee will improve at home and I would expect the scorpions to get beat this week.

Good luck and I hopoe you enjoy yourself.

The only hope Sandy have is if the weather is as bad as forecast (12 and raining) and it turns the game into a slog when anything can happen.
