Finished watching the game. A great call from the ABC team and hopefully attracted a big audience.

I need a separate to process what has been the one of the two best games I have seen this year.

I'll post more tomorrow!

Sunday was like a flash back to the old days when you would always see crowds like this for home and away games.

Good to see the Cats supporters come out

And to Port what a great win this will be the stepping stone what you can achive this year it's in your hands.

Was a great game and Port are now certainties to make the Grand Final and go "back to back". Will have no problems defeating either Williamstown or the Casey Scorpions in the Prelim Final.
Have won the Frosty Miller and will win the Liston tomorrow night !!!!Wont lose a Prelim at TEAC and with all their "injured " players getting through today, they better plan on writing another book about the 2012 season.

Vander, Can't take much notice of your predictions going by your previous post.
Port had 10 out but 3 big inclusions wearing orange,
can't believe nobody has mentioned them. !!

We might be from the bush. but we ain't green

This was an incredible game, I was privileged to be there to witness it! a huge crowd (we even had part of the Geelong cheer squad with their floggers and flags!)
I wouldn't cheapen the game or the result by saying the umpire had any influence, but the interpretation of holding the ball was confusing to say the least, as was the many dodgy "handballs" from the Cats. Port also had a clear goal ruled a point in the first quarter (I was directly behind it, and it was a goal for sure).

Go Borough!

Port once again on the right side of the free kicks !

Port 28 v Geelong 17

Seem to always get a good run in front of the old one-eyed Borough boys.

Very Good game of footy and Dean Galea so important.

Garry still hasnt woke up to Big Bonnas ! Never seen him play a good game yet !

I thought Bonna played a very important role in Ports win as a back up ruckman opposed to 2 guys well over 200cm. Him and Skipper were vital. He will def play a similar role if we play Casey and would be more likely to play as a forward if we play Willy.

Not great by Geelong to give away so many frees. Being second to the ball and conceding silly push in backs would have annoyed Knights. Fantastic to see such a healthy crowd by far the largest of the finals series.

Geez Rooster, I don't think you could be more wrong. Bonna has done a power of work around the ground and in the ruck giving Skipper some respite. For a big man he is strong at ground level and he'd be hard to beat for second efforts.

He's playing such a valuable role in 2012. I think he has also focused more this season and has given away far fewer free kicks than in previous seasons.

Take another look Rooster.

Is this game being replayed on abc 1? Looks like it will be the Williamstown v Bendigo game tonight or tomorrow morning.

Newspaper guides contradict. ABC's internet list has Williamstown v Werribee.
