did you see the poor effort Willi put up against you Brekky?? SeagullsTV needs alot of work.lol.
To be fair, Williamstown have a far superior website to us though.
My humble advice to Seagulls TV, is to buy and hand held mic and have the interviewer 'off screen' - gives a slightly more professional view.
When I watched the post match wrap with Germo I thought it didn't quite feel natural but wasn't sure why - suspect because the interviewer was out of place. Still, at least it's a start and hopefully both clubs can keep the momentum going throughout the year.
It's great that clubs have volunteers who are willing to spend there time promoting the VFL and doing things on their clubs behalf. Hopefully this continues to build as time goes by.
Without this some clubs would not have had anything the fans could enjoy via facebook the past 4-5 seasons. This website in particular has been great for the VFL although it's not the "official" VFL website.
The camera angle for the Port footage needs to change try and film it at eye level some interesting angles going on there Pete something Hitchcock would be proud of :)
and maybe the club can start filming the after match speeches and special guests during the year at the lunch
StatioHotel, it migjt be hard for BrekkyDJ to do the MC role and film the speeches :-)
Re: the camera angles, i think thats more to do with the height of the tripod than anything.
I lool like missing this weeks game so I will partly relyon the interviews.
The Tripod was okay in week one, but last week I couldn't set it right.
Plus I had some audio issues as well :(
Sorry I still haven't got round to emailing you yet Cam - just haven't had time to even scratch myself!
What I'm hope to do (if Cam agrees), is to film him (maybe this Sunday or Monday) in the Norm Goss stand, introducing "Cam's Classic Matches".
I'd film a one minute intro (20 times) featuring Cam (wearing his Borough polo and cap) talking about a Past Channel 0/10 Home and Away game featuring Port.
Then I'd edit up the intros and outros and hand it over to Cam to fill the middle with about 5-10 minutes of highlights?
depends on the copyright we might be ok with chan 10 stuff but ABC footage we can't use.
That's what I thinking. Some of the coverage from the 70s and early 80s - especially home and away games.
Great idea. Both interviews from both the pmfc facebook page & the group have been really good.
I was actually watching one last night on biff. They interviewed him & asked him a few question then asked about his nose being broken in 88 i think it was. Then showed footage of it. It was really good.
Well whoever did run thw the Facebook page, it has 895 likes, an outstanding effort.
Re: Your idea BrekkyDJ. Bloody good idea. StatioHotel is all over the history of Channel 10 games. They would be good to see up on a revamped webpage. I believe that may be in the works.
I just wish somone would sell me a copy of the 1976 grand final on dvd.
If anyone has a copy please pm me im happy to pay
