Yeah that was poor closing the bar - fans wanted a drink. Yes only one urinal with fans queeing up to take a leak and althoiugh theirs 1sts were playing i was suprised by the lack of fans they had there. Perhaps if the 1's were on - on different days you would of got a better crowd - well thats almost a certainty however I would say their was 500 people there 450 were Port fans. Should get at least 1 k at every VFL game.

Bombers were playing at idiot stadium at the same time so there was never going to be a lot of Essendon people there. Dunnies at Windy Hill are infamous, you should have seen it in the late 80`s, though there used to be dunnies at the other end where the old scoreboard used to be. Scoreboard isn`t an issue really but they do need a clock. There is a piss tin in the gents but it`s halfway up the wall, i had to stand on tiptoe. Track is fine.
I thimk there were 3 pans in the "facility" I visited, but it was a dungeon! Don't like the ground at all.
I attempted to use the facilities at Windy Hill, but they were wretched, it was only after I escaped that I saw the paper sign indicating you could use the ones in the social club (same as at Preston). Overall I thought it was an OK venue, but surely they have a clock stashed away in storage somewhere to use? Considering it was used for AFL up until the early 90's there is no excuse not to be prepared to host games.
Yep 3 sit down toilets, no urinals.
There's a good line there Burra, but I'm not going to use it !!! Not game.
We might be from the bush. but we ain't green
All the above comments about Windy Hill have frightened me off going tomorrow to watch the Zebs.
