I have a great amount of respect for North Ballarat. Great people up there.
On the flip side at least North Ballarat City are going go give it a fair shake this year in the BFL

Another year where early losses cost us dearly,
While the clubs attitude is not to burn mega bucks on ex AFL duds it may be time to at least undo the buldging purse strings just one notch.
While its ok to rely on your allignment to strengthen your side you cant expect to be
competitive from week 1 with a side half full of young bodies from the TAC.
Anyhow congratulations to the clubs that made it to the finals.
After Essendon get kicked out of the finals in both AFL and the VFL the first round of the VFL finals will look like this ;
Geelong V Casey
Box Hill V Williamstown
Werribee V Northern Blues
Collingwood V Port Melbourne

Very true Rooster,
Williamstown did the right thing by the Roosters, but we weren't good enough to get the job done.
Similar result to last year where we just missed out & probably had a better side this year where I think we could maybe have won a final.
The Roosters stuck with the Bombers for the BEST part of the day yesterday but had no match for the dominance of Hille, Bellchambers, Jetta etc who all contributed to an overall talented team.

We might be from the bush. but we ain't green

Essendon 14 AFL, Roosters 4 AFL. No excuse, though.
