Not confirmed, but mentioned on Bigfooty.
Also issues regarding getting Punt Road Oval up to standard.
Tim Clarke spoke well after the last game between Coburg v Port. He also praised all the Coburg people. Pretty genuine and will do well in developing the tiger reserves.
Punt Road is a problem as if Richmond want to host vfl matches the current setup of the ground is not up to scratch. In fact it is way off for spectators and the current facilities make it a shoebox for supporters to watch the game. Too narrow behind each goal end. The Punt Road wing side is also far too narrow and of course the opposite side is too small and lack of space which leaves the old grandstand. Then you have the problem of catering. I am sure they will eventually get it up to scratch but currently it is no good for vfl games the way it stands.
Clarkey's a top bloke, enjoyed working with him this year. I'd be incredibly surprised if it's not him in charge, as the whole point of this year was getting everything ready for next season
Punt road has quite a few issues still, I think changing rooms for two sides is still an issue, plus a heap of other problems mentioned above.
Who cares? He is only coaching another bastard AFL seconds team clogging up the VFL(sic)
I'd be surprised if Punt Road was ready to go at the start of the season. Would not be surprised if Richmond played a game or two at Victoria Park of all places plus maybe one or two in the bush as well as maybe a return to Craigieburn for a game. Funny how Richmond and Footscray returning to the VFL as standalone status with their old grounds most likely not being ready for the start of the 2014 season.
