Could be $55,000 over 2 years, if he keeps fit he'll dominate. ANZAC day against Frankston he played midfield and was close to Richmond's best, so he can be more than just a deep forward.
Setanta O'Hailpin kicked 120 goals in the Ovens and Murray this year so shows if a player keeps in good shape they can really dominate local footy. O'Hailpin was always better than what some people gave him credit for but Edwards is a better player than him.
Big drama down at Kars as have heard players asked to take pay cuts and have heard from last years list a minimum of 15 players including the senior spine have now gone after this appointment, not including off field personnel .
Oh dear I think something is horribly amiss.
Have belief for the path to victory has been well worn however seldom do we arrive at the destination.
Everything rosy out your way Jabba ??
We might be from the bush. but we ain't green
Is this to do with the new board and new president in Brad Hill ?
All the good work Simon Goosey and John Barry have done over the past few years to slowly rebuild could be all in vain. I hope that is not the case.
Could be all DOWN HILL with the appointment with BRAD HILL and PATRICK HILL.
Lets hope things work out for the dolphins and they can improve in 2015
I may be wrong but I thought Brad Hill is only the "interim" President.
If indeed there has been another major player walkout I would think it is most likely money related. Pretty sure they were paid "unders" last year and any further reductions wouldnt be accepted by most of the players. Probably the the only hope of keeping them together for less money went out the window when the Goose was sacked. I reckon 8-10 of them would be targeted by the AFL clubs needing players for their VFL teams.
Have to wonder if they would have many supporters left after another debacle like this. Same thing happened 6 years ago and it has been a slow painful rebuild. The faithful may not want to go through it all again.
M lourey to west Perth omg
Very rosey Why you ask gold prospector?
Brad Hill is a top bloke and would do a great job as president not just a acting president. It is tough for the Dolphins as they compete for many young players against cashed up MPNFL clubs. VFL clubs have to pay every player on their list where local clubs probably only between 15-20 players across the club. Some local clubs may have the capacity to pay more then 20 players but there wouldn't be many.
I honestly believe Brad Hill will continue John Barry's good work if he stays on as president.
Brad's a good guy and not new. He's been on the board for a couple of years and stepped in as acting pres when John Barry resigned.
No particular reason, Always interested in getting other clubs interests & progress rather than 95% Port all the time.
