Happy enough with our draw. Mostly nighttime starts for our home games, and home games against Richmond, Collingwood, Carlton and Essendon which should draw big crowds. Playing at Southport isn't great but at least it's just the one interstate game this year.
My only personal gripe is the amount of clashes with our women's team fixture, but I knew that was bound to happen and some of them might be workable depending on the start times.
From a Coburg perspective, 2 trips to Queensland isn't ideal for the fans. But doubles against Frankston, Preston, and Port Melbourne are good for rivalries.
Odd fact: Coburg won't have played Sandy or GWS for two seasons in a row!
And 5 matches on Good Friday... good for players who need to rest pre-Anzac round, but also a nod by the league to say, "Nothing's open on Good Friday, so come to the footy!".
Timelord not all grounds have broadcast quality lights which rules out most grounds. Port was chosen due to affordability and being a great venue- obviously if it gets too expensive we have a situation like abc all over where coverage gets cut all together. I do tend to agree with you though some may not want to play at a neutral venue and shouldn’t be forced to - channel 7 should just cover the ones who are all for the idea.

Also happy with Ports draw. Playing round 1 again away isn't great but hopefully won't stop us getting off to a good start.
Interestingly no night games fixtured at Port and that includes the VFLW fixture.
When I can get my hands on a more workable format, I'll put the fixture up on the website.
