An absolute classic match. Williamstown got over the line in what was a thrilling encounter in front of a huge crowd of about 5000 in a game which started in heavy rain.

Great game. Port kicked with a howling wind in the last quarter and it was agony sitting there hoping Willy would hang on.
Still got it on tape, Motlop was out to take on the world that day . . . had some tough moments with one of the clokes i think, remember him shaping up, and those 2 goals got phil cleary exicted! . . . exciting game! Crowd like that or bigger'd be great tomorrow. I'll be there!
