Ch 7 Sunrise reported this morning that Fev was told he wasn't wanted at Casey anymore.

Would any other VFL club want Fev? Frankston maybe?

Fevola could be headed for Kars Street. The dolphins wanted him last season. Every chance he might end up to the loud cheers of the hill. Would help the dolphins big time.

Pretty sad that most vfl aligned sides are controlled by the afl teams. The way things are going why would any player play as a vfl listed player for aligned side only to be pushed out for the so called devolopement for some player because he is on an afl list, even if the afl listed player is utter trash. I wonder what kind of players the northern vultures will have as vfl listed players. Not too many i think and definately HOPE.
Maybe gone are the days that the aligned vfl clubs had a strong vfl representation due to afl clubs ruling the roost. Pretty sure the Northern Vultures would be lucky to have 5 vfl listed players on a given round unless they have a spate of injuries forcing them to lookout for top up players around the suburbs. Fevola was good at casey and behaved himself. Casey's loss will be another clubs gain. Fevola could easily kick a ton at Frankston similar to Aaron Edwards. Fevola would be far better suited at Frankston with no interference from afl players and he would have a more regular set team and better environment to enjoy his footy.

Yep Fev would be a good fit for Frankston.

Mail is that Jarrod McCorkell has left the SLIMES & is going to the Newtown-Chilwell footy club in the Geelong league, joining ex Rooster team mate in Jacob Spolding.
Been a very good VFL player McCorkell.

The Northern Slimes will also miss Ahmad Saad. Will no doubt start off with the zebras but should be good enough to be a regular with St Kilda.
I would be surprised if Iacobucci stayed. Why bother ?
McCorkell has been a good player at vfl level with the roosters and Preston.
Sees no future at SLIMEVILLE and better off enjoying his footy with former team mate Jacob Spolding.

Former Gold Coast captain locked in for Box Hill

HE'S Locked in.

Box Hill Hawks have completed their first significant signing of the off-season, securing inaugural Gold Coast captain Marc Lock.

The midfielder is relocating to Melbourne after being delisted by the Suns.

He played one senior match this year, against Carlton.

Box Hill recruiting manager Dale Bleach said Lock was intent on returning to the AFL.

Does anyone know if former Port Power player and Central District Premiership player Ryan Williams is talking with Geelong's VFL side? I know he is an Anglesea boy and no doubt the pull of home would be big. Has really improved his game the last couple of seasons at SANFL level and would be a blow to the Dogs here in SA if he decided to go back home to Victoria.
