Cant see any Willy blokes getting tagged really. Port will back its own game plan and style of football to get the win.

Word from Willi is that they are limping into tomorrows prelim. Sherman and Veszpremi injured at training on Tuesday night and the word is that the flu has swept through the team during the week with a number of players unable to train and in serious doubt to play.
Everything falling into line for the Burra and they should have an easy kill tomorrow and be primed for back to back flags. As long as the Burra dont get any injuries tomorrow they better start writing another premiership book for distribution after the Grand Final.

Hang on!

Is this a case of Williamstown playing the underdog card, with 'no expectations', hinting that it's Port with everything to lose?

Well this thread has gone all little quiet. I surfaced this morning and watched the final quarter. After watching it all again now, Icould not be mmore proud of our efforts. Williamston were tremendous, and with some astute recruiting will be a power in the VFA one again. They have a talented young group that the club should do everythingit can to get them ready for a standalone model iin the coming years.

I thought Skipper was good in the first half, but having seen the game again in its entirety, he was outstanding all day. Valentino also showed what a championhe is oonce again.

A good crowd that was vocal and passionate helped make it a game to remember.

Bring on next next Sunday!

* It's time to restore the VFA name.

Terrific hard game of football. It was only the last quarter that Port really dominated when it peppered the goals and only allowed Willy 1 behind.
Willy have a good young list and should be pretty of their season. Always good to see a big crowd at Port!!
