I don't think the ground size will be the difference. It was in 2008 but since then Port has had some good outside players with pace. Last year everyone thought Willy would run over Port but all that happened was great one on one players like Galea had more room to isolate their opponents. It's hard to find space in the forward line at North Port so the Borough boys will enjoy this week.

The loss at Geelong earlier on in the season doesn't really bother me because the line ups are much different with Port having many players return. I expect this game to be close though and will go right down to the wire. Borough to get up by 16 points!!

Any odds on the Norm Goss Robbo ??
Orren Stephenson may win it again, which brings me to the question :-
Has any player ever won the Norm Goss medal twice or more ????

We might be from the bush. but we ain't green

Dean Galea 21.00

If Port are to win Galea needs to fire, good bet at $21.00

Big Bonnas at $34 get on !

Shane Valenti at $12 is good odds. If Geelong did win then it would be a fair bet that the Big O would be a huge chance.

Surely Port won't be dumb enough to bomb the ball down the line to Stephenson.

Agree Rooster. Galea is a very important link & will be very hard to hold. Might have a couple of bob on him myself.
That's bound to pull him up.

Gary Ayres would be aware of that and will get Galea and co to run into space rather than bomb the ball in.
Billy Burstin will be a handful for Geelong. The cats were strong in the packs last week but might find Port a bit tougher in the packs than against Werribee, especially with Pinwill and Valenti. Dean Galea finally gets to play game number 100 officially this week.
