On Saturday Northern Blues wore Carlton jumpers, not the one they wore last year with the white band. The Blues website gives more background on the jumper change for this season, incuding doing away with the red alternate jumper. I fail to see how this decision has been made "...with respect to our history..". Even the umpires kept referring to them as Carlton.

Time for the VFL to put an end to this farce

What a disgrace. May as well change their name to Carlton Reserves, or Carlton Blues Two's.

Everyone knows they are Carlton SECONDS.
They should stop kidding themseleves and just bite the bullet and call themselves CARLTON.
They SHOULD pay the FULL LICENSE FEE.
If there were any bullant supporters that followed Carlton seconds they would be well and truly gone now.

Northern Blues President Stephen Papal believes their "partnership" with Carlton couldnt be more united now. Is he effing kidding? PFC has been swallowed whole by Carlton. How is this a partnership?
Carlton jumpers
Nickname is the Blues - no longer Bullants
Red away jumpers gone - replaced by Carlton away jumper.
All that is left is the small PFC on the back of the jumper, and a bullants logo on the INSIDE of the collar.
There is now virtually no visible connection to the once great Preston Football Club.
President Papal stated this was a marketing move - he said its easier to sell one brand to corporate sponsors. Easier for who? Carlton of course.
One wonders what will happen to PFC if the future determines change, maybe Carlton will tire of the alignment, maybe AFL teams will only have one side with their reserves gone.Who knows what the future holds?
I know one thing for sure, if it suits Carlton to abandon PFC for its own benefit it will do so without a second thought.

This was at Avebury Manor, England Thursday 11 April 2013.

Why even bother to have a football club if you dont have your own identity? your own nickname? your own colours? your own jumper?
FMD, even their supporters aren't their own. Go to one of their games and all you'll see is the die hard Carlton supporters that have come to see the two's.

Preston are carlton in drag. The sooner the vfl step in re name them carlton seconds charge them the full license fee and end papals circus the better.
