Body:
Once again this game is shaping up as a beauty.
Frankston are always up for the challenge against the Borough. It seems like they really want to make a statement by knocking Port off.
Although Port had a win against Preston it was the ability to hold on with only two on the bench (with 5 changes from the round 3 thumping by the Seagulls).
I believe it's been almost a decade since the Dolphins knocked off the Zebs, and they will take a lot out of that win going into this Mondays game.
Frankston draw a decent crowd under the comps best night lighting. Monday night being Anzac day eve should bolster attendance further.
I'll be watching from Phuket and am looking forward to the stream.
No update from Port regarding the injury status of Aiden Fyfe, Tom Hird and Ethan Phillips.

the atmosphere at skybus for night games is unrivaled. always a pleasure to attend, even when we lose. the passionate crowd up on the hill is truly unique to vfl footy. the pre-game ceremony for last year's anzac game was nice, hopefully we get something similar this year. maybe the trumpet man on the hill can play the last post, heh.
You're not wrong Dolphin_Attack (welcome to the site btw). Frankston has the best atmosphere in the competition by a fair margin... Particularly when the mob on the hill have had a few

I saw of the game tonight and it looks like it just have been a terrific game too have got along to.
Interestingly, Frankston had more kicks, more handballs, more clearances and more inside 50s.
The crowd looked very healthy as did the atmosphere. There have been rumours about player dissent at Port that may or may not have any credibility. As far as I could see the playing group looked invested 💯
Final scores.
Frankston 13.11.89
Port Melbourne 16.8.104
The got off to a flyer in the first quarter but we're trailing midway through the third. I'm looking forward to watching an uninterrupted replay.

Really entertaining game of footy. Night footy at Frankston is easily the best place to watch VFL footy.
Dolphins a bit unlucky again, 3 or 4 obvious free kicks not paid in their forward 50 in the last quarter, but the turning point was Florent dropping that sitter 30 meteres out. The momentum seemed to swing back to Port after that but the real difference was Manton. Frankston had no answer to him and his 5 goals were telling. They are really missing the big body of Max Williams in defence.
Surprised at Mynott not going forward after his two quarter demolition of Sandy last week. He went there half way through the last quarter but didnt have an impact. Frankston's small forward line is working well, and Johnson and Butland are more than capable. What we would give for a big key forward..
Highlight for me so far this season has been the emergence of Kai Owens. Has starred in the midfield and is doing a very good job of plugging the huge hole left by the departure of Josh Newman. AFL scouts will be watching him closely for the rest of the year.
Interesting stat - the top 7 possession winners on the ground were all Dolphins..
Bloody ripper night of footy despite the loss. Massive crowd. Too many overbearing security guards though.
Brilliant photos Dolphin Attack!
Frankston had more kicks, more handballs, more inside 50s and more centre clearances. Bloody unlucky I would have thought not to come away with the win.

Great photos. I'll try to get to at least one night and one day game at Frankston this year. Love standing on the hill. Great atmosphere.
