Yeah, gotta hope for a Werribee win. Gold Coast are gonna be hard to stop though. They will beat whoever they play up there, but might find it harder playing the big one in Melbourne. Very good side for this level though.
Was that played at the Tramway Oval digs? If so, yeah it's a pitiful setup for an elite competition. Mind you, take a trip to Arden St and you won't find much better.....the only toilet is in the swimming centre next door. No food or drink vendors or a kiosk. Woeful. How this kind of thing can be acceptable at state league level is beyond me, when no local metro or country footy club would allow this to happen.
Yeah Blackrocker, we won't go near Punt Road again after last year. They literally wouldn't let us go past the Richmond members to get to the food truck, pretty pathetic. At least they had some portable dunnies for us commoners though.
'The Hangar' out at Tullamarine isn't much better. All clubs should be obligated to also play games at grounds that meet expectations for an elite state league competition.
Arden St is pathetic, they have toilets there which are locked during match day and no effort at all to provide good and drink. They could even outsource that by bringing in some food trucks but nobody cared enough to organise.
Punt Rd at least provides some drinks albeit overpriced. In 2018 Port Melbourne fans were asked to vacate the ground after the game so that the ground could be locked up.

I'll be watching the Werribee and Willi games on TV - couldn't give a rats about the rest of it.
I'll be supporting Werribee in the finals because at least there's a chance of a standalone club winning the flag this year.

I'm another on the Werribee bandwagon. If they make it through to the Grand Final, I'll be keen to get there.
* It's time to restore the VFA name.
We're the Tigers bold in black and gold!
I have zero interest in who wins the AFL seconds this year.
Commie
There is a chance an AFL 2 wont make it to the GF
If Werribee do make it through to the Grand Final, let's hope we can get a decent crowd to the game. Particularly if they are playing an interstater.

Had a look at Werribee vs Sydney on Sunday.
Talk about a shambles of a set up. No seats, No food, No toilets & nothing much else.
Players need a cut lunch & a water bag to get to the ground.
Very good side the Bees & hopefully will take some beating.
The only good thing is the location. Great now with the light rail next door.
We might be from the bush. but we ain't green

Punt Rd is no better
double post
Great location but not much else & a beautiful sunny day, something I haven't seen for quite a while.
Just goes to show how much the AFL & VFL consider the existing the competition of any value.
Clear case of the men playing the boys.

That Collinwood Centre is barren of facilities for visitors. On a rainy day they would not let me in to the social club.

Wasn't the Collingwood centre supposed to be built for the community ?

The Collingwood community
When Willi play at Arden St we have to go over to BWS in the nearby shopping centre to get a beer - how ridiculous is that?
Yeah we did the same with drinks and food as well. Brought some snacks and one fan got a few pizzas delivered to the ground which he shared around.
