I didn't get a chance to watch today's game. Was busy editing together the match videos for our women's teams so I might check out the replay tomorrow. Very crucial win for Port to knock off a quality side like Williamstown. Whether you guys make finals or not, that's vital to building some morale. 

I rate the heritage guernsey too, actually think it's better than your regular one. 

There was a nice touch for the ocassion. The Port Melbourne captain, Hooper;   had  jumper number 150 

Port ruthless yesterday, didnt let Williamstown play all day. Thought we would win (vfa can confirm i tipped them after taking a break from tipping port) but to win by that margin was unexpected to even the most optimistic port fans and very encouraging. 

Port is very good now and on the improve, but theirs not much room for error if we are to achieve this seasons goal. Can probably only afford to lose one game perhaps 2 at the most. Although i expect to have a stong back half i think we will fall just short. 

As per past home games a very good crowd, a well run day including honoring Pug Tucker pre match, great to get the win after a sad week for the club.

True and allow me to add shouldn't have losr all 3 of those close games, easily could have won all 3. The irony is that the most troubling sides we faced were the stand alones, Frankston played well against us and we didnt help ourselves that day and Southport thoroughly deserved their win.

Not going to lie - Guilty as charged Digs, dont go to as many games as i used to, their was a time pre covid that ild hardly miss a game home or away.

Mega. I reckon you are typical of a lot of former rusted on fans; the comp no longer has the attraction. As I go around the games I notice many of the regulars are missing.

For me blackrocker its mainly because ive had things on when ive missed games along with other reasons, my closest friends at the club hardly go any longer, disheartening team performance (which i strongly believe could be a thing of the past for this season) and poor match day experience which the new g.m. has tackled and we now have a greater feel at the ground. 

Still love to keep an eye on all things Port Mega.

You ought to come back, actually one of our most dedicated supporters comes from Ballarat. 

It was a fantastic win every single player played there role and were switched on from the word go.

Great to also see so many people down at the ground felt very much like the old days :) 

Yeah been a noticeable improvement in the atmosphere down there this year and i think new management is winning fans back. Possibly other than Frankston we may be the best supported club at the moment. Btw welcome back station hotel.
