Irrespective of where they finish this year, it has been a sensational effort.
Written off at the start of the year after losing seven premiership & state players in Goodes, Spolding, Searle, Roach along with McMahon, Chester & Watt it has been an outstanding achievement for all concerned.
The team that defeated Casey a fortnight ago fielded eleven players that did not play in last years premiership team :- Issac Smith, Couch, Tyler, Peters, Clinton Benjamin, Richardson, Micallef, along with Kangaroos Hale, Norris, Delaney & Urquhart.
Great testament to Gerard Fitzgerald's coaching & development.
