2021 Season predictions

Normally we would do:

  • Top 8,
  • Premiers
  • Leading Goalkicker
  • JJ Liston Medallist

Is anyone prepared to have a shot?  I'll post mine up this week.

But to switch things up a bit, how about other predictions for this year, such as:

  • Biggest crowd
  • Club with most TV coverage
  • Name your own very prediction

Top 8 not in order

Sydney, Brisbane, werribee, Williamstown, port Melbourne, Footscray, coburg, Richmond.

Next best Casey. Big improvers coburg, flag favourites Footscray, tip for flag werribee, highlights night footy at Frankston as well as Preston first game back as stand alone. Wooden spoon north Melbourne by a mile. Kangaroos will be as good as Geelong west thirds LOL. Novelty factor watching Southport and Ainslie playing against a vfa team away. Imagine a trip at Willy in winter. Down memory lane port v swans. Last meeting between port v swans (south Melbourne) was in 1896.

The swans reserves should be called south Melbourne and wear old original south Melbourne jumpers.

Yes vfa South Melbourne was a very strong VFA club in the early days of the VFA winning 5 Premierships/Champions of the Colony 1881,1885,1888, 1889 and 1890  and was the first to get over 30,000 fans to matches when 34,121 attended the Lake Oval against Geelong in 1886.

And I agree they should use the SMFC jumper as they are still the South Melbourne FC trading as the Sydney Swans!

The reason your not sure is because you haven't been around your beloved club. If you were you would be able to recognise the young talent coming through as well as the great work done by the recruitment department in picking up Ex AFL players as well as recruiting AFL quality players and let's not forget to mention that the greatest coach in the league and perhaps in the game is once again at the helm.

Picking up quality ex AFL players nothing short of laughable Mega !! Ex AFL duds is more like it.

Just in case you've forgotten the greatest coach in the game couldn't get over the boy from the bush

Open up both eyes !
