ANOTHER young star will shine bright when the VFL announces the winner of the prestigious Fothergill-Round-Mitchell Medal on Thursday night.

Here are the 27 nominations for Fothergill Round Mitchell Medal

Box Hill Hawks:  Vincent Adduci

Brisbane Lions: Bruce Reville, Taj Abberley, Tobey Triffett

Carlton: Stefan Radovanic

Casey Demons: George Grey, Corey Ellison, Tom Freeman

Coburg: Marcus Lentini, Charlie Thompson, Jack Maibaum, Luke Bunker, Harry Nolan

Essendon: Sam Conforti

Footscray: Charlie Cormack

This may not come as much of a surprise but the VFLW Grand Final has been cancelled.

Collingwood named Minor Premiers but no premiers similar to VFL.

VFL season has been cancelled after today's state government announcement.

No Premiership will be awarded 

No Liston Trophy awarded

Frosty Miller and Fothergill Round Mitchell medals will be awarded along with the team of the year.

VFLW Grand Final between Collingwood and Geelong May still take place

It seems all clubs except Frankston and GWS Giants will play one more game (hopefully) on weekend August 21/22 then a finals series

hoping VFLW GF will be played also August 21/22

Victoria will go into 7 day lockdown from 8pm tonight 

this means no games next 2 weekends and the likelihood of the season being cancelled
