Footscray will need to play a lot better than 2 weeks ago to get over Port. Only for Willy's lapse in concentration at the end of the third quarter, we could have been in a lot of trouble.
Much has been made of the afl experience within the team but guys like Jones, Grant and Austin will have to lift as can go missing. They seem to lack passion; something that the Port boys have got in spades.
Looking forward to see who picks up big Toby Pinwill.
Would love to see a huge passionite crowd of Borough and Tricolour fans renewing the rivalry of the 1923 Grand Final! (see other thread) Go Dogs

Who is your tip in this game Billy ?
I'll pick the borough by 20 points.
The ex Sandy players are more than handy Billy and could go along way in helping the borough get over the line.
The dogs talls will naturally be a worry as Box Hill talls proved a handful 2 weeks ago. Ayrsey would have done a bit of homework on the dogs.

* It's time to restore the VFA name.
Both good sides. Footscray look marginally stronger on paper with plenty of height in the forward half. Still the game isn't won on paper.
Looking at the Interchanges both sides have listed.. both have plenty of talent and a few unlucky to miss out on Saturday.
I believe Ports bench will be: SOS, Connors, Hogan*, Fanning, Gordon.
I've left Rowe out, but if there is one change, that will be the one imo.

Interesting 4 ex Sandy players in for Port.
