1st meeting between these 2 teams
Bendigo had their 3rd straight win this time over Geelong at Skilled Stadium. Gold Coast had another narrow loss at home to the Scorpions. Bendigo are just about the hottest team at the moment and returning to home and having a TV game for the 1st time in a long while they should beat the younger Gold Coast team.
My Tip: Bendigo Bombers by 17pts
Collingwood(2-2 8th) vs Geelong(1-3 10th) at Victoria Park 1pm
Last time they met: Rd 20 2009 at Skilled Stadium. Collingwood 9-17(71) def Geelong 4-9(33).
The Pies got back on the winners list thumping Werribee away while The Cats were beaten at home by the Bombers. The Pies will be hoping a return back to Victoria Park were they lost in Rd 1 will help them towards 2 wins a row. Pies to win.
My Tip: Collingwood by 14pts.
Casey Scorpions(3-1 5th) vs Coburg Tigers (1-3 11th) at Casey Fields 2pm

Last time they met: Rd 4 2009 at Coburg. Casey Scorpions 17-13(115) def Coburg Tigers 11-7(73).
Casey had a good win on the Gold Coast while Coburg were beaten comfortably at Sandy. At home Casey should win.
My Tip: Casey Scorpions by 12pts
Port Melbourne(2-2 9th) vs Sandringham(4-0 1st) at TEAC Oval 2pm

Last time they met: Rd 19 2009 at TEAC Oval. Port Melbourne 18-11(119) def Sandringham 13-10(88).
Sandy have been in great form this season and had an easy win over Coburg while the Borough were beaten by Willy. At some stage the Zebras will lose one and maybe with Port playing at home this could be the week.
My Tip: Port Melbourne by 3pts
SUNDAY
Williamstown(3-1 2nd) vs Werribee(0-3-1 13th) at Burbank Oval 2pm

Last time they met: Rd 12 2009 at Werribee. Williamstown 24-11(155) def Werribee 14-12(96).
Willy had a goodf win against their arch rivals the Borough at home while Werribee were smashed by the Pies at home. Willy will continue Werribee's winless start of the season.
My Tip: Williamstown by 23pts
Frankston(1-3 12th) vs North Ballarat(3-1 3rd) at Frankston 2pm

Last time they met: Rd 10 2009 at Eastern Oval. North Ballarat 11-11(77) def Frankston 7-4(46).
The Roosters had a good win at Box Hill while the Dolphins capitulated to there 2nd big loss in a row this time to the Bullants. Frankston do return home but North Ballarat should have a comfortable win.
My Tip: North Ballarat by 47pts.
Northern Bullants(2-2 6th) vs Box Hill Hawks(2-2 7th) at NAB Oval,Preston 2pm

Last time they met: Rd 2 2009 at Box Hill. Box Hill Hawks 17-9(111) def Northern Bullants 9-14(68).
Box Hill stumbled at home to the Roosters while Bullants had it all there own way against the Dolphins at Visy Park. The Bullants return home to Preston(lets hope the siren works) for this game and this should be a cracker but the Bullants to win.
My Tip: Northern Bullants by 8pts.
