VFL footy takes centre stage this weekend with the AFL breaking for its Community Weekend and Hall of Fame game. And Grandstand brings you a clash to savour, the VFL Match of the Day this Saturday coming to you from Coburg City Oval, where the Tigers are playing host to Collingwood.

The clash shapes as a season-defining fixture, with both teams sitting outside the eight after five rounds, their seasons precariously balanced at 2-3. While a loss certainly would not end their finals aspirations, it could leave them as many as three games out of the top two – a dangerous position to be in so early in the season.

For the Tigers, this week is all about making the most of their opportunities. Following their big first-up win over reigning premiers Geelong, last year’s runners-up dropped their next two games by a total of just four points, and were left to rue missed chances.
