PETER Schwab has stood down as CEO of AFL Victoria.
But the former Hawthorn coach and premiership player intends to stay involved in football, according to AFL Vic chairman Grant O'Riley, the Melbourne Leader reports.
He said Schwab had resigned to "pursue other opportunities within the AFL industry''.
"As you would expect Peter has given this decision extensive consideration as he has thoroughly enjoyed his time as CEO of AFL Victoria,'' O'Riley said.
