There is a rumour that Marvel / Docklands will be unavailable this year, due to conflicting with another event booking (which is a good result in my opinion).
I'd love to see it played at Port, but concede that the facilities for spectators aren't up to scratch if the weather is poor on the day.
Realistically if two non Victorian clubs are playing, the game may as well be played interstate as it would draw a tiny crowd here.
Could Frankston be an option? A GF under lights could be a novel option.

Grand final will be at princes park Carlton. Werribee will more than likely be in it. Even better if it is a werribee v Williamstown grand final. Good news docklands is no go for the gf. Hate the place with a passion. Frankston under lights wouldn't be a bad option. Would have to be possibly a Friday night or if during the day a Sunday.

realistically though, princes park is a good option. vic park is good for some classic footy nostalgia but its not very comfortable.
I'd actually say Vic Park if there were any fences on the outer wing......would probably be a great atmosphere. Realistically though, Ikon Park has the infrastructure for it and a good playing surface. Would love to see it at Frankston and a packed Kinetic Stadium would be a great atmosphere for a grand final.....can't ever see the league going for that though.
Just about all of North Ballarat's GF wins were under lights at Marvel on GF eve so it's not exactly a novel option but was hardly a success - Frankston is too far away
