GREATER Western Sydney will scour the VFL for stars in a bid to ambush AFL rivals in the pre-season NAB Cup.
There are vacancies on the Giants' list with the club out to add muscle and experience to a team of teenagers.
But high-profile recruit Israel Folau is likely to miss the early rounds as he recovers from an ankle complaint.
Coach Kevin Sheedy said the club wanted another couple of strong bodies for its opening games against Gold Coast and Sydney on February 19.
