Collingwood look pretty strong but with aaron francis and lesser extent laverde playing fir the dons hoping bombers can sneak home. Won't be attending this game. No chance. Prefer local footy than 2 reserves teams. For me on Sunday Blackburn v rowville at central reserve Waverley. James gwilt and ex dolphin ziggy alwan playing for rowville.
It will be interesting to see what sort of crowd rocks up to North Port today Fathers Day could have an impact but if the weather says fine you would think 6000 would be possible aferall both clubs claim about 150,000.members between them.
Hope essendon win. Aaron francis is a key. Very good player after recovering fom injuries and other problems.
Essendon 18-6(114) def Collingwood 11-14(80)
Crowd 3300
Bombers were too good today
No thanks from Campbell Brown still showing his dislike for all things Essendon barracking his guts out all day for the Pies. !!
TV viewers wouldn't have a clue as to who the Bombers coach was until three quarter time.
Time to dismiss the medias's obsession towards Collingwood !!
We might be from the bush. but we ain't green
Good to see Collingwood lose. Essendon far better in the air and more avenues at goal. Essendon will give Richmond a good run next Saturday. Definitely can upset the tigers. Essendon team looks more stable as Richmond vfl team depends a lot on their afl make up and how much game time they get.
Might be the last time the VFL is seen in prime time as the ratings for the Rich v Willy game have been reported as only 105,000 which is very poor even for a sat night. It will be interesting to see what todaysgame got
The VFL got a 6 figure ratings crowd and it is considered poor ? The grand final only gets like 200 K. Robbo what was the official crowd of the Port game ? Norm Goss stand looked packed and crowd was healthy.
