This Sunday Sandringham host Frankston at Moorabbin.
I am calling it “Colour Clash Sunday”
Probably as much of a colour clash as Port v North which the VFl made us play in away jumpers ! I dunno - call me a traditionalist but I think alot of this mandatory wearing of the clash jumper is illogical and without good reason.

I'M PORT MELBURNE BORN, I'M PORT MELBOURNE BRED, I'LL BE PORT UNTIL I'M DEAD!!!
I find Frankston's red jumper and white shorts very distinctive. Dont think it will be too much of a problem.
I intend to go to Linton Street . i'll probably have a tear or two
St Kilda reserves ? Not for me.
Secull was super impressive against the seagulls. Not a bad player from the VAFA and a type of player that could easily be picked up in the mid season AFL draft. Hope the dolphins can start to show some improvement.
Dont forget Blackrocker Linton St was a VFA Gound first before St Kilda conned and lied about their real intentions to the gullible Moorabbin Council at the time who thought St Kilda would incorporate the Morabbin name as well.
The St Kilda members at a later special meeting voted to NEVER change their name.
Sandringham 11-12(78) def Frankston 12-4(76)
LOL Just scraped in againt the worst team in the comp!
Frankston were massive odds to win at $21. Sandringham were at $1.01. In other words put out $100 to win $101. In the old terms 100 to 1 on. They fall in by 2 points. Frankston can beat north Melbourne when they play them.
What an amazing effort from Dolphins today at Moorabbin.
Dolphins were the better team but it probably came down to the fact as Frankston have not won games now for nearly 12 months they just did not have that instinct to get over the line for the win. Very proud of the guys by far their best effort of the season.
Moorabbin now rates as the worst ground in VFL competition. No seating for spectators, prices for food/drinks were outrageous. St Kilda did not provide any team sheets to spectators for either match.
The dolphins will get a win when they play north Melbourne if they show the same endeavour as today. The line was 69 points in for the dolphins. Would have been the longest priced winner in a footy game for many a year. Sadly 2 points shy. Not surprised robbo with facilities there.
