Seagulls to advance to the grand final. They are are rested and in great form. Team looks well balanced and if they get off to a flyer they will win comfortably.

Nick Meese will be a handful for Essendon. The return of Nick Rodda who missed out playing against the dogs will make the going tougher for the dons. Jaylon Thorpe can do anything on his day. Will be very eager to make it through the GF after missing a late goal by inches last year against Box Hill to win in the Prelim. Essendon's players to watch will be the old VFA trio of Hartley, Younan and Baguely plus ex Northcote Park player Ben McNeice. Heppel has been consistent. Williamstown's hardness, team work, fresher legs as well as been hell bent atoning for last seasons one point loss to Box Hill in Prelim will prove too much for the dons.

Willy now into 1.75 with Sportsbet. Hope they can win and would be great to see the ex Frankston boys Pongracic and Pickess running around in a Grand Final

Tougher conditions today that I'm hoping will favour the 'gulls.  Wind and patches of rain are likely to suit their style of play and I'm really hoping that the Seagulls can step up.

Praying for the seagulls to win as I could not stomach a full on afl reserves gf next week. Conditions will suit the seagulls. Hard game last Sunday surely will take its toll on the bombers against a fresher Williamstown team.

Willy looking good early kicking with the wind.. Quarter time Willy 6.3. 39 - Essendon1.4. 10

Nick Meese killing it in the ruck..bonus for Willy with Essendon playing Hartley at full forward and their defence looking brittle without him.

The Towners are looking every chance late in the second term.

Better quarter by Essendon and unlucky not to be closer.
