Grand Final match thread. Hopefully a big crowd turns up at Princes Park.
Go the vfa Williamstown seagulls!!
Will get a half decent crowd because of Richmond but will need fine weather.Hopefully it will get more than the AFL shielas do when they play at Princes Park
Hoping the Richmond Snipers have a terrible weekend starting on Friday night and ending on Sunday when they lose to Williamstown.
Comeng and other Port Melbourne fans - what is this that I am hearing ???? !!!!! Do you guys really want that side on the other side of the water to get one premiership closer to our league high 17 premierships ? I could understand if Williamstown was sitting on single figures, for me its gotta be Richmond and I think they will be too good. Williamstown will give them a game - they look very polished but Richmond is no Essendon - I say tigers by 3 goals. Talking about that place with a half decent football club (Williamstown) - i'm off there now to do a job - aaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh somebody just shoot me now !!!!!!
17 PREMIERSHIPS, 21 X Runners up
THE VFLS MOST SUCCESSFUL CLUB - THE MIGHTY PORT MELBOURNE BOROUGH!
I'M PORT MELBURNE BORN, I'M PORT MELBOURNE BRED, I'LL BE PORT UNTIL I'M DEAD!!!
If Willy win they will still be two first division premierships behind Port. There is no way I would want to see Richmond win.
Yeah I know but its getting too close for alot of Port fans liking. It will be interesting to see if they overtake us in the next few years because they are very very consistant. Although they are our biggest rivals theirs alot to admire (from afar) about those guys.
Crowd 15000 with Willy 4000 fans. Willy to win. Billy wearing his st Kilda jumper and gws socks cheering on the tigers with no reward. Sorry Billy I am only a shit stirrer. Digs I'll email you in next few days great if you can make it. Catch up for a few ales. Maybe Cornish arms pre game.

This is shaping up to be a ripper GF. A few days ago I didnt think anyone had much of a chance against Richmond, but after seeing the Prelims Im really in Willys corner. Richmond are playing very patchy footy and if they dont play four solid quarters they wont beat the super consistent Willy. I think Meese will be the difference - hes in super form and Richmond dont have a ruckman. Tigers choices are Chol, Balta and possibly Coleman -Jones. Chol was the number 1 ruck against Port and if they go with him again he will be slaughtered by Meese. Good player but not a ruckman. This is assuming both Nankervis and Soldo play in the ones again. Even so, Meese will have no problem with Soldo. With Rodda hopefully to come back they will be even better. Willy by 2 goals for me.
Early Sportsbet Market. Great odds Willy...
Richmond Reserves 1.55 v Williamstown 2.45
